How To Earn A Buck For Short Stories

This article describes the site Everydayfiction.Com, where one can get paid for short fiction stories.

If you have read this article , then by now you must have a decent idea on how to make some bucks by writing poems and helping people to get acquainted with your creativity. The site I'm going to tell you about is pretty much alike with the one I've already described. The difference is in the content one can submit... and the rewards as well.

What is it?

Everydayfiction.Com is a service established by several enthusiasts that help young authors to build up their reputation and earn a little money. This is achieved through short stories being submitted to their site and writers being compensated for their creative efforts. So, if you are capable of writing stories 1000 words long (or less), you are always welcome to share them.

What about cash?

Currently the amount of compensation is set at a one-time payment of 3$. This is not much, yet writing very short fiction stories doesn't require to take much pain, does it? The purpose of this site is not actually money, no. It is sharing creativity, creating some space of free and limitless motion for those short stories that authors have surrendered to the service and its readers. Money is of minor importance, so don't forget about the initial goal.

Note : the content has to be unique & exclusive, so you can't republish it anywhere or otherwise reclaim your intellectual property. Once you've paid, it's no longer yours. Many people would find royalties more suitable and profitable in the long-term prospect, but I suppose such conditions may also prove useful.

What are other benefits?

Other benefits include your piece of work being spread via email to every single person who has subscribed for Everydayfiction. Thus you can be sure that lots of people gain a unique chance to be amazed by your undeniable talents... or absence of any talent at all. :)

To sum it up, writing for Everydayfiction.Com as one-time-payment site might seem not very profitable as receiving passive income from services like Bukisa or eHow or Triond, but it undoubtedly has its own advantages. In particular, you won't find any casual visitor there - everyone has a good taste for fiction and is interested in discovering something fresh and original. So if you are capable of providing it - and don't object being rewarded - go ahead!
