Incidents of information phishing and hacking are happening every now and then. One fine day morning you wake up to know that your private information is stolen form your mail or money is transferred from your banking account. These incidents can be controlled to some extent by setting password wisely for your email accounts, internet banking accounts and other accounts on web you use in this era of internet.

There are certain things need to be taken care while setting your password.Dont use your wife's name, kids name, pets name, nicknames, date of birth, Car number for setting password for any of your important account. Any person knowing a little bit of you can guess these passwords to hack your accounts.

It is not recommended to use dictionary words as your passwords like "hello" , "password". This information can be fetched easily by dictionary attacks.

Never use same passwords for all of your accounts. Once attacker succeeds to knows password of any of your accounts then attacker will be knowing passwords for all of your account.

Always use a combination of alphabets, Numbers and special characters and make your password long enough to guess.

Today most of sites provide password strength meter to tell you the strength of your password, so set your password with good strength .

Now by applying these simple tricks you can save your important information like your mail and banking accounts can be saved from being hacked. When you set password for any of your account in future keep these things in mind.
