Hydrogen Peroxide Teeth Whitening

There is nothing you can do for yourself that will make a more dramatic improvement than teeth whitening. Your personal life and your career would be positively impacted by your brighter, whiter smile!

However, if you are like most people, it is hard enough just to afford getting the routine dental exams and cleaning that you know you need to do. You might even have a child in braces! I've done that twice, and I know what that costs! Every time I see my children's orthodontist in his Porche, I wonder when I get to take a spin in the car I helped buy!

Did you know that you don't have to have an expensive dental procedure to get white teeth? You can use hydrogen peroxide teeth whitening to get fast, safe, and easy results for less than a dollar!

Instructions Things You'll Need:

• 3% hydrogen peroxide  

I am not a dentist, and I don't play one on Bukisa.  However, this has worked so well for me!

1. Be sure you purchase only 3% hydrogen peroxide. The bottle will recommend rinsing orally with a solution equally diluted with water.

2. I do not dilute my peroxide, and most people don't when using hydrogen peroxide teeth whitening. Many of the commercial products for teeth bleaching use hydrogen peroxide as an active ingredient. Don't treat this as a mouthwash.

3. Take just a capful or the peroxide and swish around in your mouth, not gargling. Allow this to pool around your teeth for about a minute. I do this once a day. The taste is not unpleasant, and I love the way that my teeth feel after its use. However, I do not like the way it feels when you gargle with hydrogen peroxide. We are not using this for bad breath, but white teeth. Although, I have noticed an improvement in the freshness of my mouth with its use.  If this is not pleasant for you, apply to your teeth with a cotton swab.

4. Rinse well with water afterwards. You will realize very quickly that you only need a little hydrogen peroxide for teeth whitening. It almost grows in your mouth when it begins to foam. To be able to keep it in there to work its wonders, don't use a lot of it.

Tips & Warnings

• Don't use this teeth whitening method if you have orthodontic devices.
• Don't use this hydrogen peroxide teeth whitening if you have periodontal gum disease.
