What is Google Publisher ID?

Being a member of Google Adsense for a good number years, I dare not say that I am an expert on Google Adsense or Web Marketing. But I do have some basic knowledges pertaining to how Google Adsense works.

It can be really disturbing for someone who is new to online earning through web marketing program like Google Adsense to understand fully how it works. Chances are, many gave up after feeling frustrated in understanding how it actually works. Not many people are able to earn money from hosting advertisements from Google Adsense as SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a very critical factor that determines how much you earn. Put it plainly, you need to have very good unique traffic coming into your blogs or webpages.

I have came across some questions going on in online forums asking 'What exactly is Google Publisher ID?'. Well, it is not very surprising for people to raise such questions because I personally face the same problem from the start. It was after a good read up then I begin to learn what is Google Publisher ID. Most of the time when I visit my Google Adsense account page, what I would see is always a big '0'. Then I thought that my traffic was not enough. But that was not the case. The truth was, the account was not linked at all.

I started a blog in the year 2007 and had hosted some advertisements ran by Google Adsense. But the problem was that I did not entered the Publisher ID into the account. I have earlier registered to be a member of Google Adsense and because I did not key in the Publisher ID, I did not get to earn anything from those advertisments.

It was only until I joined another site known as Flixya, a site that provides user with the opportunity to share photos and videos to earn money based on web traffic. The earning will go directly into the Google Adsense account and then again Publisher ID is required. So I began to understand how important it was and started to entered all my affiliated blogging accounts with my Publisher ID.

Google Adsense Publisher ID can be found at the top corner of Google Adsense account page. It looks something like this 'pub-5171150659566432'.
