Thanks to the Question Time and the BBC, we all have had a chance to see Nick Griffin in full action and no doubt after this event everyone has something to say about this bizarre party leader. The opinions about him are just as diverse and extreme as his split personality. What intrigues me the most is that there must be something about him that has got the entire country talking about him? Whether he is significant enough for all that attention is something worthwhile discussing.

First of all how did he come across in the program? To be honest, he seemed very shaky, nervous and completely unsure about his party values. He also appeared to be completely ignorant of several other topics for which he kept getting scrutinising by the audience. He looked like a little boy who kept getting picked on in a playground because he appeared to be odd and weird. He lacked charisma, intelligence and any kind of leadership qualities that would get him elected as a frontrunner politician. What he showed was sincerity in displaying his lack of knowledge in many subjects and countless denials on many dim-witted things he had said just to get extra publicity. No wonder the panel and the audience harshly treated him, as there is absolutely no room for honesty in politics even if it to show ignorance. Nick Griffin is a sheer ignorant man and deserves nation sympathy and not hatred. It is also his sheer ignorance that he is complaining about being mistreated. What did he expect when he appeared on a political debate program without getting his facts right?

People like Nick Griffin come into being because the current political climate allows them to be born due to party in power’s own inefficiencies in fulfilling the promises they made to their public. It only reflects on Labours party’s state and also what opposition have on offer. If the alternatives are not very rewarding and not enough to satisfy the public then they look elsewhere and sometime people like Nick gain because of this unfortunate circumstances. This was quite evident in the Question Time when other party’s representative started attacking each other’s for poorer performances and weak manifestos. It was amazing how they showed disgust against Nick Griffin and ridiculed him when they or their parties were actually responsible for giving birth to people like Nick. BNP is not flourishing because of its brilliant manifestos or amazing leader but because there is nothing else that is able to provide answers.

If public stops paying attention to party like BNP, it will never get the publicity that can become responsible for misleading many honest voters for changing their minds. On the basis of which such party can begin to gain undue respectability that can harvest hatred within the country. If some questions are not being answered, it should not make us look for wrong answers but to search further until we get the right answers. Nick Griffin is not a frontrunner nor he is a nasty piece of work. He is just a by-product of the current political parties disastrous efforts in running the country. This should not be a reason for him to get unjustifiable votes and get him noticed as any sort of an important figure in political arena.
