Mozzarella in carrozza (mozzarella in the wagon)

    Things You'll Need:
    • serving 4-6 people
    • 1 loaf of bread
    • mozzarella 300 grams
    • 4 eggs
    • olive oil 1/4 of a cup
    • (or you can use butter)
    • milk about a cup
    • salt and pepper
    • 1 16 oz. bag of bacon
    Step 1

    let's start with the bread if you can, buy the sliced but make sure is some like French bread not too soft, sometimes Italian is too soft or you can also buy the one day old bread and save money too !

  • Step 2

    Cut about 24 slices and have them ready. Get a frying pan and pour the olive oil or butter in it, let get it hot.
    In a plate open up the 4 eggs mix very good just like you want to make scrambled egg, add salt and pepper.

  • Step 3

    For the bacon:
    you should cook the bacon the way you like it and possibly cook it before and put it aside and keep it warm.

    Once you finished with the eggs, cut the mozzarella in slices, sprinkle 2 slices of bread with the milk and add in between the mozzarella, pass them thru the eggs making sure to go lightly or after the deeping squeeze them a little, to get some eggs mix back. fry them quickly putting a little pressure on it, just like grill cheese flip and re-do the operation with all the rest
