Do you like smoothies but hate the mess and dont like using powder and mixes. I have an easy and all natural recipe for smooties.

Throught doing some experimenting in the kitchen which is something I  am always doing. I've discovered an easy and decilious recpie for smoothies where you dont have to use those powders and mixes. You will need a few ingredients but it's really simple to do.

Here's what you'll need:

First of all you'll need a blender of course and then your favorite glass.

Now for the ingredients which is really simple.

1 container of yogurt any flavor is fine but for a little tip whatever flavor you choose you might want to match with the same fruit of course there are some that mix and match.

then you need about 1 cup of skim milk you can also you any kind of milk here but for those who are watching the calorie then you definately want to choose the skim milk.

then you need 2 cups of crushed ice

and 1 cup of your choice of fruit fresh or frozen is fine (for frozen you might want to make sure their thawed out first)

Once you have all of your indgredients together simply put everything into the blender and blend well pour and serve.

Just to give you an idea to get you started here are some of my favorites that I use all the time

Traditional Strawberry Smoothie

1 container of strawberry yogurt

1 cup of skim milk

1 cup of strawberries (fresh or frozen making sure the frozen is thawed)

2 cups of crushed ice

Put everything into the blender and blend well also is you like strawberry and kwii you can certainly add some fresh kwii to it.

Banna Smoothie

1 container of banana flavored yogurt (or you can use plain as well )

1 cup of skim milk

1 cup of cut up banana

2 cups of crushed iced

Put everything into the blender and blend well. Also for a  little extra treat you can make chocoalte banana smoothie by adding about 2 to 3 TBSP of chocoalte syrup right before blending.

Pina colda  Smoothie

1 container of vanilla, plain, or tropical yogurt

1 cup of skim milk

1 cup of crushed pineapple

1 cup of coconut

2 cups of crushed ice

Put everything into blender and blend well.

Of course smoothies are good anytime of the day. They make and excellent meal replacement for breakfast or the perfect afternoon treat for a quick pick me up without the side effects of empty sugars or caffiene. Im sure by now with the few examples I listed here you can get the idea the combinations are endless. So enjoy.
