There are many ways to promote articles on line and increase the number of unique visitors on Triond, Bukisa and Associated Content. Here are a few of the ways you can promote your articles and make money on line by writing.

I thought I would share with you my experience writing for Triond, Associated Content and Bukisa, and how I promote my articles on line using ways you may not have heard off to get more unique views.

I have got into a rhythm of writing and promoting which you may find useful and these promotional tips could increase your article's unique views.

1. Blog

Have a blog on any subject and add the writing directory widget showing your articles.

2. Writing Directory Community

Comment on as many "friend's" articles on Triond, Bukisa and Associated Content as possible, as the friends will comment back on your articles in return and get you more views.

3. Followers

Associated Content sends out articles to a list of Followers' e-mail addresses, and for Tirond and Bukisa create your own list of e-mail addresses of friends and family to send articles to regularly.

4. Bookmark

I bookmark my articles at as many sites as I have the patience to do as it takes a long time. The following are the sites I bookmark on regularly.

Stumbleupon, Diigo, Delicious, Yahoo Buzz, Yahoo Bookmarks.

5. "Ping"

I used to claim and ping articles on Technorati, but I not use Pingoat as it is quick and simple.

6. Twitter

Open a Twitter account and have Triond, Bukisa and Associated Content post your newest article links automatically, but in addition to that tweet everyday, links to new and older articles.

7. Traffic

Check Triond and Bukisa to see where your traffic is coming, then go to those sites and see if you can promote your articles in some way. For example I noticed traffic from Outbrain, so I went to their web site to find out what it is. It is a rating system that you can put on your posts on a blog. So I added it to my blog (http://unique-travel-experiences.blogspot.com).

I also had traffic from Plurk which is a kind of Twitter. So I joined and I am in the process of adding friends and Plurking links.

I also have traffic from Total Fark. I investigated that site and before I knew that they don't like personal promotion I started leaving my links there too. Now I only do it on the articles I think are really good.

Other traffic sources which I haven't thought up how to optimize yet are Scroogle and fastbrowsersearch.

I hope this gives you some ideas and if you have any to pass on I would be glad to hear about them at https://http://www.triond.com/users/Petalm on Triond; http://www.bukisa.com/people/Petal on Bukisa and
