In this article I show you some great ways to get rid of scars naturally, from the comfort of your own home.

Are you suffering from embarassing acne scars? Maybe you have a scar left from an incident that happened when you were younger.

I know how it feels. It's just one more thing that you'd like to change about yourself and I'll show you how I have removed a few scars myself using all natural remedies.

Throw away that Mederma which has been giving you minimal results and get ready for some all natural scar treatment.

The six steps provided below are meant to be used individually or in conjunction with one another. You DON'T have to do all of them. Just pick a few that you can manage to do and get ready to see your scars fade away to the beautiful skin the use to be.

For the natural scar treatments below you'll need your choice of lemon juice, rosehip seed oil, ice cubes, aloe vera, tree tea oil or honey.

Lemon Juice

Remove your scars with lemon juice. Lemon juice is a natural bleaching agent and can be used to noticeably lighten the appearance your scars over the course of a couple weeks.

To use this technique, simply squeeze fresh lemon juice and apply it to the scars with a cotton pad. Let it sit on the scar for 15 minutes before washing it off twice a day.

Ice Cubes

You can also use Ice cubes to help minimalize the appearance of your scars. Unlike the other treatments in this article, you don't have to buy anything to use it. However, the down side is that it can be a tad bit painful.

Prepare an ice cube and rub it on your scar once a day for 15 minutes and you should see improvements in roughly three weeks.

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera will do the trick to PREVENT scars. If you already have a scar, then this won't do much, but if you ever get a new wound that you are afraid might scar then use aloe vera. To do this, just apply it to the fresh wound as it will help to prevent the formation of permanent scarring.

Tea Trea Oil

One of the MOST affective scar treatment methods I have tried would be to use Tea Tree oil. You will seriously see amazing results in just over one week using this stuff. It's amazing.

Just once a day, use a cotton pad to apply the tea tree oil to your scars and let it sit 30 minutes before you wash it off. Be sure to give this one a try, folks!

Honey

Honey will work wonders for healing your scars, however this method is a touch more complicated than the others. Right before you go to bed at night, use a Q-Tip to apply the honey to your scar. Cover it with a bandaid and go to bed.

When you wake up in the morning, wash your face and be prepared to see a slight improvement immediately. The great thing about this technique is that it doesn't take long to see results. Sure the more you do it, the better the scar will heal but you should notice a difference the morning after your first attempt with this one.

Rosehip Seed Oil

Use Rosehip Seed Oil. It is a very special oil that is frequently used in cosmetics and it has been shown to provide amazing results with scars -- especially acne scars.

To use Rosehip Seed Oil for natural scar treatment, simply massage the oils into your skin for 15 minutes twice a day.
