How to Get Rid of Black Circles Under Your Eyes

Dark circles under the eye of any human being is a constant bother. Many times these dark circles are cause by lack of sleep, allergies, and stress. There are many ways to reduce the appearance of dark circles fortunately. Some people may even be able to get rid of them for good.

Allergies are a common cause of dark under eye circles. If you suffer from allergies, the best thing to do is treat them with medication if you haven't already or get rid of the source causing your allergies. Be aware that many people are allergic to certain types of food without knowing. Food allergies are often a big cause of puffy dark eyes so start paying attention to your body when you eat.

Get plenty of sleep every night. Lack of sleep will cause your skin to become pale because it is losing circulation. This is what causes the dark pigmentation to show up under your eye. Be sure to change your sleeping schedule so you can fit in at least 8-10 hours of sleep a night if you don't already.

You should also treat the skin under you eyes daily. The best way to do this is with over night facial masks. You can find many over night facial masks that are made exclusively for dark eye circles and puffiness at your local stores. You should also apply slices of cucumber or cool ice cubes to your eyes on a daily basis. It is best to do this during the day while your at home relaxing. Be sure to let them sit over your eyes for at least 15 minutes.

Try an eye cream that contains vitamin k and retinol. Sometimes dark circles are cause by lack of vitamin k. If you begin applying a skin cream containing those ingredients, you should start seeing an improvement under your eyes. To see best results you need to apply it at least two times a day and on a daily basis.

The best way to cover up these nasty circles fast is with the right cosmetics. Go to the store and buy a peach or yellow toned concealer if you don't already have one. After applying it on top and bottom eye lid, you will start seeing your circles disappear.
