If you and your husband have decided its time to bring a new addition to the family but your not quite sure how to get pregnant, this is the guide for you. I will teach you how to increase your chances of becoming pregnant.

For most people these days, avoiding pregnancy is a big hassle. But for others, getting pregnant can be an even bigger hassle. Many women actually have a hard time conceiving a child but there can be many reasons there having trouble. Becoming pregnant isn't as easy as you'd think. The truth is, there are only six days a month that a women can conceive. There are also many other factors that could easily effect conception. If you are having troubles conceiving a child, the likelihood is your doing something wrong.

If you are on any sort of a birth control method, be sure to discontinue from it. Birth controls such as pills, patches, and rings may take a while to be flushed from your system. You should stop taking them at least a month or two before you are wanting to conceive a child. Although, if you were using the shot method it could take many months after discontinuing it before getting pregnant. Many women cannot get pregnant until about 9 or 10 months have passed since there last injection of Depo Provera.

You should also start making healthy lifestyle choices. You should begin by changing your diet to a healthier one if it isn't already. Fast foods wouldn't be a good choice at this time. Also try to exercise regularly and keep your stress under control. Stress can really affect the the timing of ovulation which makes it harder to predict. Sleeping more will help any stress and get you back on track. Start going to bed an hour early every night giving yourself more time to relax. Many stressed women also tend to smoke cigarettes, unfortunately this is an extremely bad choice if your trying to get pregnant. Smoking highly reduces sperm count and health. You should also stop drinking any drinks that contain caffeine because they will highly increase the chance of a miscarriage during pregnancy.

Try to conceive your child based on a predicted ovulation. You should have sexual intercourse at least once a day during the days leading up to ovulation. Also have sexual intercourse at least 3 to 4 times a week when ovulation is not predicted. By doing this you are heightening your chance of pregnancy when trying to conceive more. Although, having lots of repeated sexual intercourse will lower your sperm count. In that case, be sure to have it only every day on the days leading up to ovulation. When your trying to conceive a child during sexual intercourse you should get in the right position. Scientifically proven, the missionary position is the best position for a women to be in when trying to conceive a child. The most important thing to do is keep your intimacy levels high with lots of creative and romantic fun during intercourse. Trying to hard is a very common reason women cannot conceive.

If you are still having trouble getting pregnant on your own you may want to visit a doctor. Some women can truly just not conceive a child and have to have the sperm artificially inserted. This could be the cause but don't give up hope, there's still a big chance of yourself getting pregnant.
