How to Get Faster

Being able to run fast is a great privilege although it doesn't come naturally. Running faster than average requires good health and strength. It is going to take a while to train yourself to run faster but is very well worth it.

Get your body in shape if it isn't already. Being able to run fast requires that your in good physical health. Excercise daily by taking a slow jog around the block for a few weeks. You should also switch your diet to a healthy one eating lots of fruits, vegtables, and water. This is what will prep your body for the intense training to make yourself run faster.

Once you feel you are physicaly able to run long periods of time, it is time to start doing so. Go out to a track and run a few laps a day. Don't over do it though if it is to hard on you. You want to take things slow to avoid injury. Repeat running a few laps a day for a few weeks working your way up to running more. This will build strong leg muscles and condition your body to run fast at long periods of time.

Now it is time to take your running a step up. Begin recording your speed everyday and writing it down. While runing laps mentally push yourself to run faster than you did the day before. Everyday you run, the faster you will get. The main key to running faster is never giving up.

Be sure you keep up on running everyday. If you don't within just a short periiod of time you will lose this great ability you just gained and you will have to train all over again. Good luck and have fun being able to outrun everyone.
