Creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind dinnerware that's sure to be the talk of your party is an easy project to dish up! And you can add a plate hanger and you have gorgeous designer-style wall decor! And the secret is, it's actually storage incognito!

- Glass Plate or plates
- Scrapbooking paper
- Gold paint pen or a silver paint pen
- Decoupage glue
- Foam brush
- Pencil
Begin by choosing a scrapbooking design that will match your theme or kitchen colors. If you're making more than one designer plate, you should choose complimenting designs, but make them a bit different. You don't want the same boring design over and over again!
And remember plates don't have to be for kitchens only if you're planning to use these for decoration purposes only.
Trace your plate onto the back of your scrapbooking paper with a pencil. Cut out the shape.
With your foam brush, apply a generous amount of decoupage glue to the back of your plate.
Apply a second generous amount to the front of the scrapbooking paper.
Apply the paper to the glass. Use your fingertips to smooth out any air bubbles and wrinkles. Allow to dry.
Once the plate is dry, use a gold or silver marker to run along the edges for an elegant, finished look.
- These plates are mostly decorative, but can be used as well!
- Very carefully and gently clean these plates by HANDWASHING ONLY! You wouldn't want all your hard work going to waste by scratching up your masterpiece!
