Never wears loads of perfume or Cologne. Just because you couldn't smell it from your doesn't mean your date wont. To much of a fragrance is a turn off. It is hard to get to know someone when you don't even wanna be near them due to the strong smell. Just a few sprays will do just fine.

Consider meeting your date at a public place. Great first date locations are at the park, a movie theater, and local restaurants. Meeting at a public place will provide a security blanket for your date as they get to know you. You don't want to make a first date scary by immediately offering them to come to your home.

Even though we are now living in a new century, I feel men should still be gentlemen. They should pull out chairs, open doors, and be as kind as possible about treating women on a first date. Even after the first date you are going to want to still treat a women like a princess. This is what will start a long lasting and loving relationship.

Make sure to keep good strong eye contact with your date. Even if your not interested in what there talking about, eye contact will show your interested in knowing more about them. Listening and starting lots of topics are other great things to do while on a first date. This will allow you to get to know each other better. Conversations will also keep it from being a dull and boring date.
