No such thing as a typical internet marketer

When you first join internet marketing you will assume that we are all the same. But the truth is there is no such thing as a typical internet marketer. We all have our own rules and our own skills that make us stand out from the internet marketer across the street. We all come from different walks of life and even though one person might be great at writing sales copy the next person will have to learn it from scratch.

However just because you can’t write sales copy doesn’t mean that you can’t learn it. As time progresses you will have studied lots of other online marketers and watched the way they operate so that you can follow the best methods for success. Everything I have learnt about internet marketing has come through learning and refusing to follow a set pattern for success.

For example I was once told that you should never submit your articles to more than one article directory. I listened to them for quite a long time and then decided to ignore the advice and submit to multiple directories and within 90 days my website had gone from a Google ranking of zero straight up to three.

We also all have different surroundings - I write my Blog posts from my laptop with beautiful views of the Algarve countryside in sunny portugal and wouldn’t swap it in a million years for a stiff office in London.

Just like you could just as easily be the hippy that hasn’t had a shave for three months as most of us hide under model photos anyway. I am just under the understanding that if your product is hot and works does it really matter what you look like?

The most important part of being an internet marketer is having the freedom to choose the lifestyle that you want to lead without this business I would still be living in England that is for sure. All you have to remember if you want to make it as an internet marketer is that no matter what your experience is as long as you have access to a computer and an internet connection that is all you really need.
