If you are looking for something fun to do with your friends and family this New Year's Eve 2009, here are just some of the many events that are taking place in New Jersey.

 

New Year's Eve Events in New Jersey 2009 – Haddonfield First Night

Downtown Haddonfield comes alive this New Year's Eve with it's annual First Night event. Over 20 performers will be on hand for your entertainment and you can visit one of the many food stands for something to eat. Festivities begin 6pm. Purchase a button for $12 to have access to this event. Volunteers get a free button!

 

New Year's Eve Events in New Jersey 2009 – Maplewood/South Orange First Night

First Night in Maple/South Orange will take place at Columbia High School from 4-6pm and again from 7-11pm. Over 20 artists are scheduled to perform. Fireworks go off at 7pm. See website for more details on purchasing tickets.

 

New Year's Eve Events in New Jersey 2009 – Battleship New Jersey, Camden Waterfront

Ring in 2010 on a battleship? Why not? Battleship New Jersey will become a waterfront New Year's Eve celebration on the Delaware River from 10pm-2am. Music, prizes, food, and bar service will be available. Tickets are $8. And you can leave the car home because New Jersey Transit Riverline goes right to Battleship New Jersey.

 

New Year's Eve Events in New Jersey 2009 – Ocean City First Night

Say goodbye to 2009 and hello to 2010 on the Ocean City Boardwalk in Cape May County. In addition to performers, rides, and fireworks, you can also make a sit down dinner reservation. Tickets are $14 per person. Sit down dinner $20 per person and seating is on the hour from 4-9pm. The legendary rhythm and blues band The Coaster will put on three shows at 9pm, 10pm, and 11pm. Coasters tickets $3. Free shuttle bus service will be provided from parking lots to Boardwalk.

 

New Year's Eve Events in New Jersey 2009 - Morristown Morris County First Night

Morris County First Night is a non-alcoholic event in Morristown that takes place from 7pm-Midnight. Over 400 artists and 80 performers are scheduled to attend this year's celebration. Free parking and shuttle bus service will be provided. Ticket prices vary based on date of purchase. Buy between December 1-15: $15. December 16-30: $20. December 31: $25. Kids under 4 are free

 

New Year's Eve Events in New Jersey 2009 – Montclair First Night

The arts friendly town of Montclair is planning another First Night Event to usher in 2010. Past musical performers include Little Feat and the Beatles tribute band The Fab Faux. For more information on Montclair First Night 2010, please visit their website for more updates.
