People who exercise in the open air often feel more relaxed, and regarding the dangerous surroundings in the gym, when you practice outside you avoid the flu viruses, which just love to spread in the hot and steamy environment.  When practicing outdoors you need to dress appropriately for the occasion. The perfect balance of not too bulky yet clothes that will keep you just warm enough is the requirement. However, some even regard that heavy boots and too much clothes can help you burn a lot more calories than usual. The specialists recommend that you wear clothes in layers, where each layer will have its unique purpose. When following common sense and pure logic, the first layer should be some synthetic fibers, those specially made items to help and protect your body against moisture. Those items will help keep the moisture out. Since the synthetic clothes are not able to keep you warm in winter, the next layer should protect you against cold; the clothes made of wool would be a perfect choice. Wool as natural fiber will keep you warmer than any other such imitation. Natural fibers should always be your first choice, so the nice long wool sweater at the top will keep you warm enough. Finally, the third layer should be nylon to help prevent snow or rain from getting your clothes wet. Once you got all the gear, finaly accessorizes with some wool gloves, and a nice woolen headgear, or those cute earmuffs to keep your ears warm. Remember dress light yet be smart.

Pay close attention to the weather, if it is sunny outside do not forget to put some sunscreen. This will prevent any unnecessary burns, and the cream will help you with dry and irritated skin, a common occurrence during winter and cold weather.

If you have your own everyday diet, during winter make sure that you add plenty of fiber into your daily nutrition. It is harder to lose weight during winter, so make sure that the food you eat is filled with fiber, proteins and off course vitamins. Why fiber? Fiber takes a lot of time to digest, and this special characteristic is one of the biggest fiber food benefits. Since fibers are a lot more difficult to digest, it means that your metabolism will spend twice as many calories just while digesting fiber. There is no doubt about it; fiber food ought to be the most valuable component of your winter menu. Many researchers have discovered that fibers help prevent various diseases like, heart diseases, and they prevent weight gain. Food items, which are rich in fiber, are almost any type of vegetables, anything that is green, grains and beans, and off course fruit, rich in vitamins and fibers.  Even a single glass of grape juice early in the morning is the perfect shield against the colds.
