Rankings and Projections for Wide Recievers for Week 9 of the 2009 NFL season.

Week 8

Wide Receiver Rankings

1.)    Reggie Wayne

Projection: 7 Rec., 120 Rec. Yards, 1 TD

Wayne had twenty passes thrown to him last week and I wouldn’t expect him to have that happen again. I would expect him to have at least ten thrown his way in a game that looks like it will be a shootout. He caught a touchdown that Peyton Manning didn’t throw; imagine if Manning had thrown for a few.

2.)    Larry Fitzgerald

Projection: 7 Rec., 100 Rec. Yards, 1 TD

Warner has been out of sync and it’s been hurting Fitzgerald. I feel that Warner will bounce back and produce a game with solid numbers, and Fitzgerald will lead the team in all receiving categories.

3.)    Randy Moss

Projection: 5 Rec., 100 Rec. Yards, 1-2 TD’s

Coming off a bye week Moss will be well rested and ready to put up big numbers. Tom Brady has been looking like he is back in 2007, and Moss is just the right receiver to help him get all the way back to like he was in 2007.

4.)    Wes Welker

Projection: 9 Rec., 100 Rec. Yards, 1 TD

With Brady back Welker already has more touchdowns than he did last year, and he did it while missing two games. He has been racking up the catches and this trend should continue in week 9 along with some big yards, and maybe even a score or two.

5.)    Andre Johnson

Projection: 6 Rec., 90 Rec. Yards, 1 TD

With Owen Daniels gone for the year with an ACL injury Johnson will be getting even more looks than before. He played while hurt last week, and seems to be fully recovered, and having a healthy Matt Schaub as his quarterback helps.

6.)    Marques Colston

7.)    DeSean Jackson

8.)    Miles Austin

9.)    Roddy White

10.) Mike Sims-Walker

11.) Vincent Jackson

12.) Miles Austin

13.) Chad Ochocinco

14.) Greg Jennings

15.) Calvin Johnson (watch his status)

16.) Hines Ward

17.) Dwayne Bowe

18.) T.J Houshmandzadeh

19.)  Donald Driver

20.) Steve Smith (CAR)

21.) Nate Burleson

21.) Brandon Marshall

22.) Steve Smith (NYG)

23.) Derrick Mason

24.) Devin Hester

25.) Michael Crabtree

Watch For: Anquan Boldin: He will most likely not play, but if he does he could have a big game.
