Double Mobile Credit for Free?

If you are like me and tend to buy mobile phone top-up vouchers to top-up your expensive ‘Pay as you Go’ mobile phone then here’s an idea:

1. Go out with a friend and each buy a £10 or $10 mobile phone top-up voucher.

2. Both of you type the same code from one of the voucher’s into your phones.

3. Press enter at exactly the same time, and you should both be awarded with £10 each when only one of you should have been.

4. Do this again with the other voucher, and you will end up will double the credit.

It is important to buy two vouchers so that if only one of you get credited for some insane reason, then the other can just use the remaining voucher and no-one looses out on any of their hard-earned cash!

You don't have to use Orange to get a 2 for 1 Cinema Voucher!

Most of you must have heard of Orange Wednesdays. Well, it all started many thousands of years ago when mobile phone network providers were invented. They all lusted for more and more customers, until finally they grew too strong, took over the world and were finally destroyed by fed up aliens. Then some time later came our century, when ‘T-Mobile,’ ‘Orange,’ ‘O2,’ ‘Vodafone,’ ‘3,’ ‘Virgin Mobile,’ and ‘Tesco Mobile’ were created. Again they all lusted for more and more customers, but this time took a decent approach by offering customers rewards. Orange did this by giving its loyalties a free 2 for 1 voucher to use at any cinema every Wednesday. This was a great idea and have saved many Orange customers a ton of money.

Here comes the interesting part: you don’t have to use Orange to get a 2 for 1 cinema voucher. Simply keep your old mobile phone sim card, and order a free Orange pay as you go sim card from their website (updated: it may cost up to £1 now but it is a one off payment). And then when you go to the cinema, slap in your activated Orange sim card into your phone and enjoy the benefits. Just remember to make one phone call every two months to make sure you’re not noticed and to keep the sim card activated, and that’s really all you need to pay (because you pay as you dial or text). So that’s a saving of £364 a year, if you and a friend go to the cinema once a week for a whole year and the ticket costs £7. It’s a nice saving, don’t you think?

Hide your Number from Unwanted Contacts?

If you need to hide your number from unwanted contacts, then this is how you can do it (UK):
.
1. Enter the phone number.

2. Replace the +0 at the start with +141.

3. Phone the number as usual and when the recipient receives the call it will replace the number with 'Private Number' or 'Number Witheld.'

Of course, you can always go into the mobile phone's settings and select your number to be witheld, but this will make your number private to all the people you phone and not just the ones you select.

Escape a Boring Situation with a Mobile Phone App?

If you have an iPhone or even an iPod Touch, you're in luck. Have you ever found yourself lost in a boring meeting, conversation or activity? Well, there is an escape ticket unknown to many in this world.

All you need to do is go to iTunes and load the App Store. Somewhere in the store you will find an app that will mimic a real call that even includes playing your ring tone and starting vibration. It is the ultimate 'get out of there' pass, and to add to this it is completely free!

Can I make my Friends Pay for my Mobile Phone Bill?

Well, I wanted to somehow secretly make my friends pay for my phone bill. Obviously, that's not possible. But I did think of a very clever way to make my friends pay for phone calls when I'm calling them: all I do is phone their number, leave it to beep once and cut the call. When they check their phone they will have one missed call from me, and so will phone me back. And there you go, a free phone call!
