A Review of Cafe Brazil in Dallas Texas

Cafe' Brazil has several locations in the Dallas area and one in particular is actually open 24 hours and breakfast, lunch and dinner are served always. It is located in the University Park area at 6420 N. Central Expressway, right on the feeder road.

The coffee shop is modern with its vibrant green and orange colors and seats at the bar but yet cozy with tables of a more wood brown color, so you can sit and enjoy your drinks and food or take them with you to savor them  later.

For your hot beverages you can go with hot tea for $1.99, hot chocolate for $2.69 or even an organic Chai Latte for $2.99, or go with a flavorful latte such as English toffee, rocky road, almond or even sugar-free vanilla for $3.79. And for those hot summer days go with a cold specialty such as almond cream Italian soda for $3.29 or a frozen drink such as a strawberry banana smoothie, a mocha espresso freeze or even a frozen raspberry lemonade for $3.99.

But you can also taste their signature specials such as the Brazilian breakfast which includes two fresh eggs, a chorizo empanada topped with a spicy sauce, cheddar cheese and a jalapeno and rosemary potatoes or you can have the chilaquiles which are scrambled eggs, tomato sauce, onions, cheese, tortilla strips and a choice of chicken, chorizo or turkey for $7.99.

On their signature specials they also have some vegetarian plates such as the vegetarian tacos which include zucchini, bell peppers, tomatoes, and mushrooms tossed with egg whites served in two wheat tortillas for $7.29 or you can have the vegetarian migas which have zucchini, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers and sliced jalapenos tossed with scrambled egg whites and crisp tortilla chips topped with melted cheese and with rosemary potatoes as a side for $7.59.

Of course you can order sandwiches all day as well such as the American club which is smoked turkey, ham, bacon, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise on grilled bread for $7.99 or the T-H-E sandwich, which has fresh tomatoes, sliced ham and two eggs over hard with melted cheddar and Monterrey cheese served with rosemary potatoes and a jalapeno for $7.29.
