Make the perfect gift - a personalized calendar from your pictures.

There are many services that allow you to make your own calendars; Windows has its own program as does Google but the most appealing may be the one provided by lulu.com.

Start off by organizing pictures, phrases and sayings or anything that you may want to be featured on your calendar. Don't forget to take in to account the front and back covers.

Go to lulu.com. Make a free account and find the calendar link button, this opens up the lulu creator wizard. Choose the details of your calendar such as size, paper stock and beginning and end dates. Next it's as simple as uploading your pictures and phrases and placing them where you want them to be. Once the top of the calendar is to your liking add any holidays that you want in the dates. If days specific to you aren't on there (such as birthdays) make them special events.

Click on the Preview and Publish button to see the finished product and prepare it for printing. Be patient while the program prepares your personalized calendar. Next set the price for your calendar if you want it to appear in the marketplace and become available to the public. There is the option to make your project private and available only to you. If you do this you will only have to pay for the cost making the calendar.

Click finish to finalize your project. Now you can buy copies of your calendar, direct friends to it or just be proud that your project is there for the world to see.
