This is a review on the Macbook Pro based on my personal opinion and my experience with owning it.

I have owned my MacBook for almost a year now. I am completely in love with it. It's my favorite investment. First off, it's very nice looking. The keyboard is very nicely designed and the touchpad is basically a big button. Something about the touchpad that IĀ find very cool is that by using two of your fingers you can scroll up and down. Also, by sliding four fingers down fits all of your windows on the screen at once. By sliding them up moves all of your windows out of the way. Everything about the MacBook's appearance is beautiful. It was a lot of money, but it was definitely worth it. Unlike most computers/ laptops, MacBook Pro starts up within about a minute. It isn't like any ordinary computer or laptop. It's different in everyway, and better in everyway.
The MacBook comes with plenty of cool applications such as safari, garageband, photobooth, iphoto, imovie, ichat, etc. Safari is for accessing the web. It works great and fast. You don't have to wait more than 10 seconds for anything to load. Garageband is for recording music and it also has hundred's of sound effects available for whatever you need them for. Photobooth is used for the built in camera. It comes with tons of different effects to use on your pictures. Black and white, sepia, makes your face look like it's in a funny mirror and more. You can also edit your photos on iPhoto. Also, in photobooth you can create videos and you can edit them on iMovie. Finally, ichat is used for webcamming.
The battery life is outstanding. "Apple is claiming up to 7 hours of battery on the new MacBook Pros. The old specs used to be up to 5 hours. Apple did some clever work on its own here. Standard lithium ion batteries are made up of cylindrical cells, similar to AA batteries. The problem with these batteries is that they waste a lot of space within a notebook (try cramming a lot of cylinders into a box, you end up with wasted space). This wasted space translates into larger batteries than are necessary, which makes for larger notebooks." says http://www.anandtech.com.
My only problem with the MacBook Pro was the price. I paid $1,200 for my 13 inch MacBook Pro. Also, 15 and 17 inch MacBooks are available. The 15 inch cost starts at $1,699 and the 17 inch starts at $2,499. Personally, I think it was worth the money. Others may not agree, but I definitely would not go back to any other kind of laptop or computer. The MacBook was a great investment, no doubt.
