Predator Island

This is a horror movie that was released in the year 2005. Chuck Gramling is the director of the movie.

The movie starts with three couples start to take a trip to an island to party a weekend. The island gets hit with meteors from the sky and the meteors had aliens with them. These events eventually make the communications with the main land cut. There they meet with the lighthouse keeper and his wife, who are the only inhabitants of the island. They get into hiding in the lighthouse and there they make a foiled attempt to fight with the aliens. The aliens have a special power. They read the mind of the people and hide in them so it becomes difficult for the people from keeping away from them. Despite the seriousness of the movie there are funny sequences in this movie. I could not forget the one in which one of the actors becomes the bait and the others are hiding so as to kill the aliens if they come to catch their bait. The funny pat is that the bait talked of all sorts of rubbish so as to attract the aliens. Well it was something that a man does when he has all sorts of fears and at the same time has to become bait.
Some of the people get killed. Only few of the survivors manage to get to the mainland only to find that something there has gone terribly wrong there, which you could watch in the movie.

To be honest there are some thrilling scenes in the movie. The movie spins around the fight with the aliens at the same time there are some very funny scenes in between the horror scenes.

I think that the story of the movie is fine but at the same time there is a lot of weakness in the screenplay and the movie would have been better with some more editing.

Overall the movie is an average movie to watch. The movie is not recommended to children; however they could watch this movie with some sort of parental guidance.
