Walking Through the Journey of Life

My reflection on the journey of life that all of us has to take in this world

From the moment we are created in our mother’s womb till we take our last breath in this world we journey through this life on earth everyday. We don’t get to choose our parents neither they do choose what kind of child we should be. In a lot of ways we have our life being preset before we even see the first light of this world. Then we will take our short journey mapped out for us before reaching our final destination.

Throughout our lifetime, each person’s journey starts almost the same like every one of us, with only few differences. This make us unique in this short period of existence that is being preset for us at the moment we started to evolve into developing human beings. Though our world is made up of different continents as we believed, however, deep down they are all connected together and make our planet as one.

For us to continue our journey, it’s going to take more hard work and willingness to fulfill our purpose in this life. Every breath we take, every step we make, as well as every person we met, they are all a part of our existence. We do make choices that we believe will be best for us. However, there are some things in our life’s pathways that cannot be changed even if we want to do so. This is one mystery of life. Of course, we still do what we please and after that we realize that it was a mistake and we have to take few steps back to reassess ourself and strive to find the right path again in order to reach our destination. There are times when we walk off the right path for so long that it will take twice as much time to get back to the spot we have made the wrong turn. It may take longer to correct the mistake, but it is better to go back and retrace our steps sooner when we realize our mistake than suffer in doom.

Throughout our journey we will cross paths with others who pass by the same road we were taking and there will be moments that we will unite with other fellow travelers who are walking very close to the path we have chosen. Then we find a connection with them as we relate our stories with each other. There is a chance we will find their story unique and uplifting that we want to ask them to join together with us in continuing the journey together as companions. This is a wonderful part of uniting to share both journeys as one. However, we must be very sure that this is the one we will enjoy every moment on the road to our destination or we will be miserable all the way.

There are times when we make the wrong choices on our paths and we hurried to go back and make it right as much as we can with little time lost. However, when you are traveling together with a companion, it’s not easy any longer to realize that you have step off the path you wish to travel. You need to let your partner know that you need to get back to retrack your steps in order to correct the path you have chosen. And now before you can able to turn around there will be questions that stand between you and your partners. You need to find out if they will continue walking the path ahead of you or wish to continue with you in turning back and getting on the right path you have choosing for yourself.

This is the point where decision has to be made between both of you. Will you still share the same path until you reach your destination? Or you choose to take separate ways but still move towards the same goal? At this time both of you will take few moments to weigh the ups and downs through the path you have taken together as well as the path you both have traveled alone then make the decision what is best to do. Whatever both of you will come up with, it still will bring both of you to the same end where you will let go of the bodysuit or the mortal body that was given to you wear throughout your journey. Then you can relax at the destination you decided to be your home and reap your rewards for being a pious traveler.

This is really something to think about in one’s own life?! At times we all grow independently. Keep up the great work!
