17 a simple number but this restaurant is sure to give you a great experience whether you just want to dine, have a pre theatre dinner with their own menu or enjoy a polo club menu. The service is fast and friendly and the prices are quite reasonable for the upscale downtown scene, and the décor of the restaurant is very contemporary with its bright reds and soft blacks, and in 2005 it was dubbed one of the best new entries from Texas Monthly Magazine. The restaurant is located at 1117 Prairie in downtown Houston and it only serves dinner from 5:30 P.M to 10:00 P.M.

For their appetizers you can enjoy the warm spinach salad which has crisp bacon, assorted mushrooms, baby spinach, cambozola cheese and a warm garlic and pepper dressing for $12.00, or the wood duck farms field greens salad with shaved radishes and sherry vinaigrette for $9.00 which can also make a light meal. Or you can even the roasted quail stuffed with foie gras terrine which comes with potato rosti and pan roasted apple glaze for $17.00, or even the vanilla pan-seared scallops which come with
