Spritz is a typical drink that is commonly served in the northern part of Italy especially in Venice which had influence from the Austrian Empire from their Spritzer drink which is a combination of equal parts of wine and water served in a normal glass over ice or even a martini glass. The drink is very popular all year round in the whole nation and you can choose from Aperol or Campari which has a more bitter taste to add to the drink and it is usually served as an aperitif which is drinks before dinner paired with some snack food.

This is a great drink to serve with your Holiday dinner meals as well because it goes perfectly with almost anything you will cook or alone, it can be served before the meal, during the meal or even after the meal.

The following can make for a party of four to six people, and if you have a lot of guests then use two bottles of wine or Prosecco and double the cup amounts for the Aperol or Campari Soda, and if you want a sweeter taste to it then add a cup of club soda to your mix.

Get a jug that can hold more than a liter of liquid and get some glasses out and add the orange peels at the bottom for decoration.

Then in the (chilled) jug add the whole bottle of Prosecco or white wine (if you cannot get Prosecco).
