A book I am writing that I am going to name: Journal of Bill McNeely.

Here is the book so far, I just started.

Journal
Of Bill McNeely

Today is Tuesday, October 28, 2009.
Hello all! My name is Bill McNeely, and I will be writing you a story of a little bit of my life. I am in the third grade, and my teacher’s name is Mrs. Clayborn. She is very nice! My best friend is named James Luna; I will just call his James in this journal I am going to write, obviously. Now I will tell you why I am writing this journal and what the journal looks like, and all of the info, and stuff. I am writing this journal because my teacher, Mrs. Clayborn, gave me a random journal after I did a test and got the only one-hundred in her class… so I decided to just write a journal with it. Ok, so today, Tuesday, October 28, 2009, I was walking down the hall coming back to class from the bathroom, and it was reading time, which you are supposed to be quiet in, James just randomly yelled at me from the doorway. Of course before I got to answer him, he was called back into the classroom, and got in trouble for not being quiet. After school ten minutes after the bell rang, because he got into more trouble after he yelled, because he talked back to the teacher after he got into trouble. So after me and him both saw each other outside of the school, I called him over to ask him what he was going to say, but he ignored me, I kept on asking while he waited for the bus, and he finally replied, “Just.. Go away… don’t talk to me.” I guess he must be mad at me because I was the one outside in the hallway when it happened, I guess. When I got home, mom and dad were in separate rooms because they must have gotten into an argument, but that’s just what I’m guessing… they ignored me. Even though it was only six thirty in the evening, I got in bed and took a nap. When I woke up, I was very, very confused. I was in the hospital surrounded by family members, and friends. That’s when I remembered what happened. I guess I must have dreamed all of Tuesday, October 28, 2009, because it was Monday, April 21, 2006. I remembered that I was on my bike with my friend Diert, from Mrs. Clayborn’s class, and I felt a bump on the sidewalk. Then my bike flipped and suddenly everything was black. I must have woken up for another brief moment before I was in the hospital, because I heard screaming, and a moving car. Now here I am. I spoke, “Mom, dad, are we going home soon?” They did not reply, but she made a face that said “No”, and she pointed her forehead to my forehead, which I then saw why I was not going to be leaving anytime soon, because I saw a huge bump in my head with a needle in it pumping out blood from the bump. I saw Diert, Mrs. Clayborn, Mom, Dad, my older brother, Daryl, and my aunt Clyde, and my uncle, Bobby. I blacked out once again. When I woke up, I was at home. I will rest for days… write you back when I’m done…

Today is Tuesday, April 29, 2006.
I’m all better, and I am writing this in my free time in school right now, well, I say free time... I mean the time I am supposed to be doing a test! By now though, I hope you know that I absolutely HATE tests. It is a really hard test… oh! Never mind! I see the answer sheet now… Check back with you when I ACE the quiz! Ha-ha!

Five minutes later…
I made a 53. I saw the wrong answer document a test that only had ten questions... Mine apparently had 30. Well, I guess I just have to move on with life now… ugh… now it’s time to learn about different types of volcanoes. Mrs. Clayborn said, “Okay, class, time to learn about different types of volcanoes! Okay, let’s get started. First we will learn about…” I forgot what she said… I started staring at a picture of a chipmunk... when I got concentrated again all I heard was, “Ok, that is all about shield volcanoes… Any questions?” I wanted to raise my hand and say, “Everything about shield volcanoes!” But no… then Mrs. Clayborn said, “Ok, then that means it’s time for me to say, QUIZ TOMMORROW!” The words echoed in my head as she said that.

Wednesday
It was the day of the quiz… thank goodness for the power of technology! I just researched about shield volcanoes once I got home. So I think I will ace the quiz!
Check back with you once I’m done.

32.5 seconds later…
I made a one-hundred! I was the only one in the class that made a one-hundred except for Diert, he was yelling so loud that the principal could hear, “YIPEEEE!!!”
Then the teacher broke into his yelling, “Ok, today we are going to learn about cone volcanoes. Cone volcanoes are much shaped like a cone, being steep sided. And I know there is going to be a lot of cheering for this sentence I am about to say, so I am going to close the door. Okay, THERE IS NO QUIZ ON THIS TOMMORROW!” Everyone burst out cheering, just like the teacher had said. After school, it was a pretty normal day… Goodnight!

Thursday
Last night was AWESOME! I don’t know why, but my mom and dad just randomly told me that we were going on a vacation to Abilene to see an awesome football team play! But the best part is that we have no school on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday! That means that I don’t have to do any work and… I won’t even have make-up work on Friday, because this is a “fun” week with no work at school. But I would so rather go and see a football game in Abilene than rather to go to “fun” week.
Now that I took ALL that time to write all of that to you, I really have to catch the bus for school. Talk back to you then. Ok, I’m in the bus now, well, I have been in the bus for over five minutes, but I dropped my lunch, and everything splattered everywhere. So, I ran back into the house, and grabbed another Lunchable... but the good thing about all of that is that I got a better flavor in the end because my mom HAD to give me the vegetables, but now, since I dropped them, and they were the last vegetable ones, I got pepperoni pizza instead! What a good day. I’m almost at school and it is raining, but I like rain. Oh my gosh! YAY! A kid just reminded me that today we have a field trip! We are going to the Corn Maze. It is a huge corn field, which has someone mow it into a maze. But this maze is very tricky! It’s so tricky that they have to give you clues, and a map for you to go in so you do not get lost. Well, were at school now, and I’ll write again to you when I have some free time, which will probably be at the corn maze, I don’t know. Ok, my first free time was not at the corn maze, it was as soon as I got inside, because we have a substitute today, and she does not really know what to do, because she does not believe us that we are going to the corn maze today, so she is reading the passage that the teacher wrote to tell her what to do. Almost everybody is passing a bouncy ball to eachother
