I Hate That Nail Polish

I thought that I would like it, but I get it home and hate the color. Now what do I do with it??

I came up with this idea simply because I didn't want to throw out those brand new bottles of polish. Here's a few ways that I came up with to use it up!

I have thrown away more of those measuring cups than I can remember... and all because the measurements have worn off. But the price of these measuring cups are so affordable and to trade up to pressed stamped measuring cups will cost you several dollars more. The trick is to color code the cups. Paint a red dot  for 1/2 cup, an orange dot for a quarter of a cup and a green dot for a third of a cup. And no, the nail polish won't wash off.

Sealing an envelope... years ago, they used wax to seal an envelope and the finished product could be quite festive looking. I'm thinking that the same thing could be accomplished with an elegant drop of nail polish. When you think about it, you could be starting a whole new trend!

*Have you noticed just how tiny the buttons are on remotes these days?? I'm thinking that a dab of polish just might be the answer!

*I have a pair of earrings that the "gold" has worn off. So... I painted them! Now they are a pretty coral shade. I'm wondering if I could simply wipe the polish off with polish remover if I decide to change the color??
