Oct 31 is dress up like Lady GaGa day. Halloween has been canceled.

Traditionally there has been one day of the year where your bank teller could dress up like a blood sucking prostitute and get away with it. That day used to be called Halloween. Now that songstress Lady GaGa has taken dress up to the next level, Halloween should be canceled and the day could be declared as GaGaWeen.

To celebrate GaGaWeen run down to your favorite second hand store and buy up everything that looks shiny or sparkly. Then run into a craft store like Michael's and buy anything that would be totally inappropriate to wear as an article of clothing. For instance, you could buy a wire frame bird's nest and use it as a crown. You could use an artists easel as a crown as well. You could buy large tuft of dried grasses and use them as crowns.

Mysterious face coverings can also be part of the GaGaesque mystique and allure. Any lace in the place applied to your face will elicit an air of mystery as well as some remarks from the peanut gallery such as: That woman is crazy. And so you are. You are GaGa.

If you are stuck for ideas on the eve of GaGaWeen then Google GaGa and find something that is both outrageous and Sexy. You want to be sure to most outrageous person at your annual GaGaWeen gathering.

As Lady GaGa is a singer is certainly helps if you can sing but ever since the Japanese gifted the world with Karaoke, those who couldn't carry a tune in a bucket have been unembarrassed to get up in front of their friends and butcher a perfectly good piece of music. So why not you.

Now is that nice?  Lady Gaga may be different but she’s not hurting anyone and seeing what she is going to were is fun and interesting and harmless.  For great ideas on how to put together a version of Lady Gaga go to http://ladygagacostumesonline.com.  Great info and fun, and that’s what dressing up like Lady Gaga is about—-just some harmless dress up fun like we did when we were kids and before we got so serious.
