Google's Keywords Tool

If you want to optimize your article marketing campaign or spruce up your SEO on your website, you should really learn how to use Google’s keywords tool.  You can then ensure that your word selections are high hit words and not low statistical failures.

Without using this keyword tool, you are basically throwing your articles and sites up against a wall and seeing what “sticks”.

1. First you want to go to Google’s Keyword Tool.  You can find the link in the resources section of this article.

2. Next you want to type a search term that you would use on google to find information on a topic.  If I were going to search for “work from home” ideas online I would type “work from home” into google normally.  So I basically type “work from home” into the keyword tool.

3. You will get a list of results.  To fine tune your list you want to select the word “Exact” instead of “Broad” from the Match Type field located above the results on the right hand side of the screen.

4. Now you want to scroll through the list and find “high hit” words and phrases.  I always go with keywords that are 10,000 + views per month “Locally”.

You also want to use some of the keywords and phrases in the title of the article, not just the body.  Following these steps will help you earn more money in the long term on any article marketing or site SEO campaign you have.
