Forgetfulness happens to the best of us. Fear not, Halloween is one holiday that you can get away with being unprepared. There are plenty of quick and easy last minute decorations to save your Halloween.

#1 Cutout Decorations - Easy but yet effective. Cutouts provide you with the opportunity to be creative with your Halloween decorations. You have the choice to either draw your own design or print one out from the internet to use as a stencil. Once you have your design selected, trace it onto your desired color of paper. Stack up a few pieces of paper together and start cutting. Before you know it, you'll have a pile of Halloween cutout decorations to start putting up!

#2 Ghost Decorations - You can't celebrate Halloween without having ghosts mixed into your decorations. Take an extra pair of bed sheets or pillow covers and throw them over a balloon or two. You now have yourselves a couple of ghosts floating around for the trick-or-treaters to enjoy. Add some extra flare with some ghosts decorated onto your candy by using a few napkins instead!

#3 Cauldron Decorations - If you happen to have a black pot or bowl, perfect. If not, take some black tissue paper and wrap it around the pot or bowl you wish to use as the cauldron decoration. You can then pour a dark drink, such as cola or ice-tea, to fill the cauldron. You can also cut open a green bottle and tape it to the bottom before filling it with water to give it a eerie green Halloween glow. Don't forget to hang some of your ghosts from the side!

#4 Spider-Web Decorations - These can be simple or intricate designs depending on your flavor of Halloween decorating. Simply take a bottle of glue and draw out some designs on dark surfaces like the dirt patch next to a tree.

#5 Background Music - This can make any Halloween decoration come to life. Doesn't necessarily have to be spooky or dark music, it can be a cute children's song. You can either play the music through a window or just keep your music player next to the door and hit play when the doorbell rings.

There's your five great ways to make-up for a forgotten Halloween with some quick decorations. Whether you're aiming for a spooky or spunky holiday, you can decorate it your way and have a blast, even last minute.
