Be Paid to Update Your Facebook Status!
The day has started. You login on Facebook and update your status, adding some comments and answering to messages. It has already passed one hour since you're doing this, while neglecting your real job. But what if all these would be part of your job? Those from CNN have found 5 jobs that fit your Facebook addiction! You have a lot of things to do, but you're still looking for a suitable picture for your Facebook profile. Oh, and you're mad because one of your friends said something not very nice about your last photo.
After finding that picture, you start looking for the wedding picture of another friend and then you see two videos that present the babies of a distant relative. It's already noon.
Does it sound familiar to you? Then, you should follow the advice given by some guys from CNN and change your job. And this time, you must choose one in which social networks play a fundamental role. Wouldn't be nice to be paid to update your Facebook profile?
"With social media becoming a major player in how people communicate and interact with each other, it's natural that this industry needs a marketplace. A lot of jobs in online marketing are all now requiring some level of social media expertise. The real question is whether the jobs coalesce into new departments and position, or if they become skill sets under old departments," explains Jim Durbin, vice president of Durbin Media.
So, if you're addicted to Facebook, these are the right jobs for you:
1. Recruiter
Increasingly more recruitment companies have begun to search for employees on Facebook/ Hi5 and other similar websites. Experts claim that this offers them the possibility to find out what are the best skills and future plans of a potential employee. A resume can disappoint you, but this can't be said about the comments left on your last photos.
2. Strategist
Companies are beginning to initiate large projects that involve social networks and need someone who can be a good strategist. If you're addicted to Facebook, then you only have to come with a brilliant idea, mentioning the way in which it can be applied. Surely your talent will be recognized immediately.
3. Director of Social Media
Similar to the previous job, this position offers you the change to show your skills in various online projects. You'll have the possibility to coordinate projects and implement new campaigns in everything related to social networking. You can leave your mark by coming up with new ideas, while promoting innovative plans.
4. Analyst
Any serious company has at least one profile on social networks, whether it's about an active one on Facebook or a static profile on Linkedin. As you can tell, the impact of these profiles must be analyzed and optimized. Being an analyst can help you to show your skills in online expertise.
5. Editor
Yes, there must be someone to edit and update all the company's information on Facebook. And you can be paid only to change the status. That's right, most likely your job will be attached to a more important position, but you'll still have the change to spend a half an hour on Facebook without being criticized for that.
