How to Keep Physically Healthy
Personal hygiene, regular exercises, proper nutrition, enough rest and avoidance of vices are the best way to stay in good health.
Hygiene
Change you clothes daily, specially if you perspire a lot or live a hot, dusty place.
Brush your teeth after each meal. See your Dentist at least once a year, and not only when you have a tootache.
Wash your hands regularly specially before eating and after using the toilet as germs easily cling to the skin and nails, and can get to the food which you eat.
Fingernails and toenails should be keep trimmed as these easily pick up dirt while working or playing.
Take a bath daily. This removes dirt, dried sweat, and dead cells from the skin.
Drink plenty of water and fruit juices everyday, and eat green leafy vegetables. These will help prevent constipation.
Urinate regularly and move your bowels daily.
Always clean parts of your body which easily collect dirt, sweat, grime, dust and bad odor. The neck, groin and armpits must be cleaned well.
Exercise
Exercise daily or atleast 3 times a week. Exercise does wonders for our body, together with adequate rest and recreation.
It helps you breathe better and help regularize you bowel movement.
It prevents obesity.
It builds up your resistance against diseases, and keeps your body active evein in old age.
Enough Rest
You need enough rest and sleep to kee your body in a good condition. Sleeping will recharge your energy in order to function better, both physically and mentally.
Nutrition
Food is a basic need.
Many processed foods do not have much nutritional value, particularly those which come in can, wrapper or packages, as well as softdrinks. These are called "junk foods." They may, infact, be harmful when habitually taken. Cutting down on them would be a good start
