A very intriguing show, if you've not seen it check it out.

MonsterQuest is a History Channel show that follows researchers as they look for evidence of, as the shows' name implies "monsters". I often find the show fascinating although many of their searches turn up questionable and superficial evidence at best. They profiled "sasquatch" but came up only with the cliche footprints and questionable "sightings".

I have always been fascinated by folklore and the like, perhaps that is why MonsterQuest appeals to me. MonsterQuest is very unique in their approach. It is a documentary style show but to me is more entertainment than anything. The fact that they leave many of their "cases" open ended kind of bothers me. I think there should be followup shows that let the viewer know if any of their research bears concrete proof.

Some famous monsters they have researched have been the previously mentioned Sasquatch,Nessie, and the Chupacabra. Given the notoriety surrounding these monsters it is no wonder a show like MonsterQuest would want to profile them can somebody say great ratings? The ratings however are well earned in my opinion though.

MonsterQuest is one of those shows that you just can't help getting caught up in watching.                         Maybe I am somewhat biased given that my favorite films are horror films.

People have been fascinated and terrified by "monsters" for ages. At the same time though I think that horror films and such feed the intrigue, do people like being scared? It would seem so. It gives people an adrenaline rush to be scared witless. I think as long as people want that rush shows like MonsterQuest will thrive.                                 I for one will continue watching it at every given chance, I hope you do too.

As usual, thanks for reading and there will be much more to come

God Bless All
