Finding a Flexible Job: Does it fit you?
Finding a flexible job is hard because nearly everybody is searching for them...but does it fit you? If you're trying to decide how to find a flexible job and if it's worth your time, here's a guide for you!
How to find a flexible job. Ahh, thats a statement a lot of people are looking for an answer for nowadays. A flexible job is any job that you don't work for 8 hours every day for 5 days a week. Sounds great right? You've got to be careful when attempting to find a flexible job. Sometimes flexible can actually mean "unprofessional" as well.
These days, a lot of people are searching for flexible jobs in order to maintain their balance between work and play. The Labor Code has certain requirements and boundaries that flexible jobs must adhere to:
Certain sectors, businesses or professions can be established through collective bargaining or by the individual, or by specific acts during a daily time job less or more than 8 hours of work,
The employer can establish individualized programs of work, with the consent or at the request of the employee concerned, if it is provided in collective agreements or internal regulations;
A daily working time is divided into two periods: a fixed period in which staff are simultaneously wroking and a variable period in which the employee chooses their arrival and departure times, subject to daily job time of 8 hours .
A flexible job involves various options in terms of working hours. Here are the forms of flexible work:
Job part time - whether you have part-time contract or other contract that allows you less than 8 hours per day, a part time job is ideal as a second job for rounding revenue and developing a career, as well as an extra job when you want to take care of the family or other personal activities. Are people who prefer two part time jobs instead of a one full time job;
Job with flexible schedule - negotiate with employer job program, especially the arrival and departure times;
Temporary job - certain jobs are seasonal and employers offer a temporary employment contract.
A job can be considered flexible if you work at home or if it requires frequent traveling. There are advantages and disadvantages of a flexible job, depending on the type of person you are. Before you turn to a flexible job, be aware of all the implications, for example:
Part-time job means a lower salary;
Involving non-payment of all taxes by the employer, such as pension contributions and a 401K.
Often times, there is no insurance. (more risky)
