Article directory is one way of advertising. Businesses finds this effective and cheaper and a great opportunity to be noticed. Cost for this advertising is so minimal and yet the potential and the coverage of the target are much wider and larger. For some unknown writers this is one way of publishing their works and a way for the people to judge whether they are a good writer or not. Of course if they find it very interesting to read you'll eventually see it that more readers are coming and reading your stuff. And for bloggers, this is one way of increasing their traffic volume. Like writers, bloggers are also authors and publishers but of course in their own way and their own niches.

On the article of Louis K entitled "Submitting Articles to Article Directories" clearly states that article directory is a great example of the internet working as exactly is it is supposed to be or intended to be which is the sharing of information. So by means of submitting articles to article directories you're not only profiting from it but also sharing it to others. The information and the knowledge that you share is something that you impart to others which they may use or learn from it.

So to conclude, buy submitting articles to article directories you're not only advertising your business or your products but your advertising your learned and innate knowledge.
