Family fun can be had on the smallest of budgets. The list is a freebie list; every activity listed will be free to do, except maybe for some gas money.

If you as a family are looking to spend more quality time together, there are plenty of activities for you. Family fun can be had on even the smallest of budgets. You will also be happy to know that family fun doesn't have to break the bank.

Now is the time to make those family memories that will last your children the rest of their lives. You may find some activities listed that you love so much you will start your own family traditions. Some ideas might sound weird and your children might be skeptical at first, but try it anyway. Once you try something new they might do a complete turn around and end up having a great time.

1. Dust off a Board Game - Board games help critical thinking skills and they are fun.

20. Family Story - Each person makes up one sentence, and continues the story until you come up with a happy ending.

Try putting all the ideas from above in a small jar or basket. Then mix them up and take turns picking an activity to do. This idea works great when your kids are bored out of their minds and bugging you to do something fun.
