Week 8 Running Back Rankings

1.)    Adrian Peterson @ GB

Projection: 120 Rush yards, 2 Rush TD, 2 Receptions, 20 Rec. yards

While all the hype may be about Brett Favre returning to Green Bay, Peterson should put on a show against a weak Green Bay run defense.

2.)    Chris Johnson vs. JAC

Projection: 100 Rush yards, 1 Rush TD, 3 Receptions, 20 Rec. Yards

With virtually no passing game Johnson should get most of the workload, and against a JAC defense that is good news for Chris Johnson owners.

3.)    Matt Forte vs. CLE

Projection: 90 rush yards, 1 Rush TD, 4 Receptions, 40 Rec. Yards

Forte gets another chance at an easy defense and he will put up numbers similar to the game against DET.

4.)    Thomas Jones vs. MIA

Projection: 100 rush yards, 1 Rush TD, 1 Reception, 11 Rec. Yards

With Mark Sanchez not throwing well, the Jets have become a run-focused team. Jones should get the majority of the workload and have a good game.

5.)    Steven Jackson @ DET

Projection: 80 Rush yards, 1 Rush TD, 6 Receptions, 50 Rec. Yards

An easy match up against Detroit means that Jackson is going to score his first TD of the year. He has the yards, and now he will get the TD’s.
