Ways to boost your immune system

Pay attention to your health it is very important for you to keep up to date with your illnesses.

Don’t wait until you are struck down with a nasty bug to tackle your immune system. Bolster your body’s natural defences, with simple ways.

Make sure,  you get outdoors everyday,  and see the light.  A dose of sunshine not only elevates your moods, it also perks up your body’s natural defences.  This is because vitamin D is produced naturally in your skin by exposure to ultraviolet B rays from the sun and this is a powerful immune booster.

Get physical, When you are more active, it helps protect you against colds.  when exercising, it doesn’t have to be strenuous to have the required effect.  Brisk walking is three times a week is a great idea.  Sleep well, a good night’s sleep is a good cure.  Focus on the quality undisturbed sleep, rather than focusing on quantity.

A spoonful of honey, this supports the digestion system, soothes the throat and wards off colds and flu symptoms.  Take teaspoonful three times a day.  An hour before each meal and keep winter bugs at bay.  Try to add as many herbs and spices to your meals as possible, as they are loaded with immune supporting nutrients.  Have ginger in stir-fries, add aloe vera to drinks and sprinkle turmeric into rice.   They will make your food taste even better.

Control your way of life and you will be free of most illnesses.

A few drops of zinc a day boost your immune system.  Viruses don't like alkaline.  Dark green vegetables are good for you.
