But I Don't Have a Hammock

There are going to be days when you simply feel like screaming. I've come pretty close and on my worst days, my computer has come pretty close to going out the window and seeing that I don't own a hammock, I had to come up with new ways to... chill!

I have a journal that I keep a list of things to do written down just for the times when I'm driving everyone mad! Here are a few of them!

* Bake some cookies. It all about doing something out of the norm... and for me, that would be getting up and heading for the kitchen. Now if I had that hammock, it would be a completely different story!

*Take your computer to a new room and if this is possible... take it outside! There's nothing quite like the outdoors to turn on the juices!

*Call a friend on the phone and set up a coffee date. Simple chit chat over coffee is incredibly relaxing.

* Need to take your mind off of your problems. The answer could be something as simple as watching your favorite TV show on computer. That way you get to watch the show when you want want to watch it.

*On one particular night a few years ago, my husband was on another business trip and I just couldn't seem to perk up my horrid mood. It was hot, there was nothing on TV and it was raining. It was my daughter's idea to grab a couple of umbrellas and just go for a walk.

We don't normally go for walks late at night, but we pulled our hair back, put on baseball caps and grabbed the umbrellas. To anyone who might have noticed... we were two guys out for a walk.  We enjoyed every single minute of it.
