Ah, classic old school Beyonce Knowles - before she grew arrogant and started making music videos of every single track on every single album in an attempt to rule over everybody in the music world and annoy the heck out of us.

Artist: Beyonce Video: "Work It Out" Album: "Austin Powers in Goldmember" Soundtrack/Dangerously in Love Label: Columbia/Maverick Recording Co. Director: Matthew Rolston Ah, classic old school Beyonce Knowles - before she grew arrogant and started making music videos of every single track on every single album in an attempt to rule over everybody in the music world and annoy the heck out of us. Before some idiot convinced this woman that she was a highly skilled actress over the thousands upon thousands of unknown yet professional black female actresses out there who are starving for work. "Work It Out" was a song and music video off of the motion picture soundtrack of the third 'Austin Powers' film titled "Austin Powers in Goldmember", released back in the early 2000s (around the same time as Beyonce's debut album "Dangerously In Love"). "Work It Out" has classic funk and soul written all over it, the music video keeps the 'Austin Powers' theme from the film and has Beyonce Knowles in full-blown Foxy Cleopatra mode (her character from the film, perhaps her best and only performance period). Beyonce is seen performing on stage with a band and some back-up singers, she does a lot of squatting in the number of short skirt outfits that she dons here (I swear I could have seen something for a moment, regardless I was hypnotized), and she gyrates up against her microphone pole quite often. One of Beyonce's best music videos in my book. Lots of characters from the movie appear here (i.e. Dr. Evil, etc.) as well.
