However, do expect to pay more for these solid state drives as they are way more expensive. Regular hard drives come with spindle speeds at 5400RPM, 7200RPM, and 10,000RPM. 7200RPM is average, lower than that and its below average unless its a hard drive for a small portable device which would not be a gaming laptop. If you cant' afford a solid state drive for your gaming laptop, go for a 10,000RPM drive with sufficient capacity.
