Sunbeam has done it again with this new little appliance, the hot shot hot water dispenser model 6131 This new little appliance  by Sunbeam will  replace your microwave, teapot, coffee pot,  under sink hot pot.  Skepticism turned into a wow. The first time you use this Sunbeam hotshot hot pot or when it has been exposed to freezing temperatures, fill heating chamber with water before plugging in, and prior to first use. Wash heating chamber and lid. DO NOT IMMERSE. Only use water in this unit. Only pour sixteen fluid ounces into this unit. Plug into 120v outlet. Close cover press the on button. The indicator light will let you know the water is heating; the light will go off when the water is finished and ready. Put your teabag or coffee in the cup and place under spout of dispenser, when light goes off press dispenser to fill cup or bowl. When finished drain unit completely. If a second cup is needed make sure to drain the unit completely first and then pour cold water for your second cup to reset the thermostat. It takes less than two minutes to heat sixteen fluid oz.

The uses for this little appliance are endless herbal tea, mixes, soup, hot chocolate, coffee, oatmeal, hot cereal, baking, baby formula; always test contents will be hot.

Over time, the unit may accumulate lime deposits in the heating chamber. This causes longer heating times. Make sure the unit is unplugged, adding ½-cup water and ½-cup white distilled vinegar 8 fluid oz ea. to heating chamber, let it remain in unit until deposit is removed. Drain by pressing the dispense button. Do not heat this solution. Run two cups of fresh water through your unit to clean.
