Whether it's dressing up to impress the acquaintances you are playing with, a few business companions, or that fine-looking beer young lady or cart guy on the course, having the correct outfits will cause you to feel good and look as though you are a player, whether your game matches it or not.

While you are getting geared up for your round of golf, acknowledge that you have to look the part to act the part.

Follow thes tips, look great, and enjoy your round:

1.  Wear Shirts With Golf Logos or themes

The golf course is not your rec center or the YMCA.  Recognize that this is a country club game, processed with civilization and gentlemen, so bring out your best duds prior to you finding the clubhouse.  Find a polo shirt that define your arms, something light and loose, that will keep from getting sweat stains for at least four hours. Golf shirts can be purchased inexpensively for $10-15, and fancy-name brand ones can cost as much as $70-80.

2.  Find the right head gear

You'll be hard pressed to detect a golfer on PGA Tour or LPGA Tour without some sort of accessory on their head. With the sun beating on your head and face for upwards of six hours, you will need sunglasses and a hat.  Although Nike caps have become popular, as have Callaway hats, one of the trendiest trends in golf has been the visor.

3.  Match your Pants/shorts

Many people think that golf may be shaping styles around the world.  Others just think that the PGA has tried to bring back retro styles since the 1990s. Pants have been a changing part of golf, and looks have differed from pin-striped suit pants with white belts, to   knickers.  If at possible, try to match your shirt with your pants/shorts - i.e. conservative shirt/conservative pants, flashy shirt/flashy pants.
