                                                Where will you  go when you die?

             Are you aware that your life doesn’t end with your  death on the Earth? Do you also know that your  soul has to live another life in another world?   Where will this life (after death) be lived?          

             This article enlightens you on that ‘after life’  Read it carefully.

             You have died; your heart has stopped functioning and your body has been buried. But, your soul would continue to  tick.  It will be transferred to  another Plane of existence, with a different kind of body. There is no escape from this phase at all. Lord Jesus Christ, who is God  Himself, came to the Earth as a human being a little over 2000 years back,  only to tell us precisely that there is another   life beyond. It will be  very much a conscious life.  Your soul cannot be destroyed.  Once created, your soul lives for ever either on the Earth or somewhere else.

            There are only two places one’s  soul would  go after it separates itself from the physical body – Heaven (also known as ‘salvation’) or Hell.  There is no third alternative.  Heaven is a place of tremendous  bliss and God’s very abode;  hell is a place of discomfort and torment and away from God. Whether  Heaven or hell, life there is eternal.  In simpler words that life is permanent without an end.

            Lord Jesus Christ told the world, how to get into Heaven. In fact, it is His desire that every human being, whether you are a Hindu,Buddhist,Muslim or any other religionist,  should come and live with Him  after the earthly death. And He has made  this transition  absolutely simple as well.  All we are required to do is,  “To put our Faith, Trust and Belief in Lord Jesus Christ.”   That’s all.  You don’t have to work for it. Lead a righteous life  so long as you live on the Earth and surrender yourself to the Lord. What will happen otherwise? If you reject Him, you are already consigned to hell.  Cruel, I agree.  But then why do you want to kick out a simple travel plan?

            This is not my interpretation. The Holy Bible tells us that very very clearly in plain language. Incidentally, The Bible is the word of God.  Its contents have been given to the world of humans by God Himself, some directly  dictated to His Prophets and  some inspired by Him to some writers and one set of rules was written by Himself in His own hand on two stone tablets.

            You can challenge the Bible’s authenticity  only at your own peril.

            A number of  cynics (There are millions of them in the world !) have queried, “Are   Heaven and hell  real or imaginary stuff?”  Indeed,  they are real, very much real for that matter.  The experience of some people has proved it as such. A privileged few  have walked into Heaven after death   and have returned to Earth alive and whole.  Death is an one way traffic, we know,  but there are exceptions. Some  have come back  after a lapse of 3 days and some after a few minutes.  And some living persons too  have been shown  visions of Heaven and hell.

            Saint Paul, an Apostle of Lord Jesus Christ and a  great writer of Epistles to the various churches during the first century, was taken up for a visit of Heaven, as recorded by him  in II Corinthians 12. He says that Heaven  is so wonderful a place that one would find no words to describe its beauty and grandeur.

            One Nigerian pastor, who died in  a car accident some 4 or 5 years back, was returned after 3 days, with tour notes in the form of  memories of the happenings in the other world.  He was taken on a tour of the hell  too besides a spectre of Heaven and angels. He had recorded the events in a CD

            Then there is a case in Chennai, India,  of a lady who was given an extension of life in response to her plea with Lord Jesus Christ.  She was undergoing an operation by a very eminent surgeon for advanced cancer, about 3 years back.  The surgeon noticed that she had passed out before completion of the   operation. The various electronic instruments said that her heart had stopped functioning.  Yet, some believers were praying for her, for her return to  life. The surgeon, a Muslim, laughed at their foolishness reflecting, ‘the dead don’t  ever come back alive’.  And surely after about 4 minutes, the same instruments livened up showing heart beats and blood circulation in the  body. The lady, who is alive now, gave her testimony in the church in recent days.  She had not seen  a view of the other world  but   only recalled that she was pleading with the Lord for prolonging her life on Earth, which was granted to her.

          All those who became alive are believers in Lord Jesus Christ.  Why were they sent back?  To give us a first hand information about what is going  on in Heaven and hell.  Life in hell is real hell. The decision to go to Heaven or hell rests entirely in our hands.  You have to make that choice while you are alive on the Earth and not later after you ‘die’.  If you find yourself in hell and you want to get out, you won’t be allowed to leave that horrible place. There is no question of you modifying your choice at that time.. You have to make that choice while you are alive on the Earth. Do it now.  Don’t delay.  Reaching Heaven is an easy affair.  Don’t ridicule this simple plan  - of trusting and placing your father in Lord Jesus Christ., who alone is the salvation giver.
