Here's an easy recipe to make honey mustard just like a restaurant.

Make your own honey mustard sauce.

Let's be honest. How many times a week are we fixing things that you take out of a bag in the freezer and dump on a cookie sheet? None of us are going through the drive-through on the way home like we used to, but we don't often have time or energy to really cook when we come home.
So, how do you make all those chicken nuggets, chicken strips, cheese sticks, etc... taste a little special like the ones the kids order in a restaurant? Honey Mustard, of course!

I have been unable to find a honey mustard sauce that rivals a steak house sauce. My family just won't eat them. Here's a honey mustard recipe that tastes ever bit as good as your favorite restaurant. The best part is that it uses ingredients that you have at home.

Difficulty: Easy Instructions Things You'll Need:

  • Honey
  • Brown spicy mustard
  • mayonnaise
  • Tabasco or other hot sauce
  • little pepper
  1. Step 1

Mix 1/8 cup Mayonnaise and 1/8 cup mustard. Add the hot sauce, only two drops. No more. Mix well.

  2. Step 2

Now add the honey, stir, and stir and stir. Add a little pepper. You really need to stir this to get the honey to marry with the mayonnaise and mustard.

  3. Step 3

You can easily double this recipe. Serve in a little bowl to get that fun restaurant feel.

  4. Step 4

This goes well with just about anything. Chicken, onion rings, fries, etc...

  5. Just an extra tip I won't charge you for ... always sprinkle salt and onion powder on frozen breaded chicken. It kills the frozen taste.
