Make a Pasta Salad Recipe

A Quick and Easy Pasta Salad Recipe is a valuable thing to have around. Of course, you know me...It's going to be quick and easy, or I'm not going to make it at all!

A pasta salad is a versatile dish. It makes a perfect main course for an informal lunch, or as a side dish at a more elaborate meal.

Pasta salad is also a good lunch packing food. You don't have to heat it up, and it is very filling.

If you want some extra protein to any pasta salad, boil an egg or two and slice it in the salad.

Instructions Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 lb little bow tie pasta...This is 1/2 box of Piccolini
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons of dried minced garlic
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 5 tablespoons of Real Bacon bits ( I use Hormel Real Bacon Bits)
  • 1 can Green giant Petite Peas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • A Sprinkle of Salt, Pepper, and Parmesan ( I used two little Seasoned Parmesan packets left over from delivery pizza. )
  1. Step 1

Add the pasta, onion, and dried minced garlic to boiling water. Cook until done. Rinse and drain in cold water. Add Mayonnaise, salt, pepper, peas and bacon. Mix well.

  2. Step 2

In a separate bowl, mix vinegar, oil, and sugar. Add to pasta.

  3. Step 3

Chill and sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.
