Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - Preview - The Game

Next week is the new transformers movie coming out, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Of course there is a game coming based on the movie. The first game in 2007, was also based on the movie, and the game was a disappointment. The game had too much bugs and the graphics weren’t that great. This sequel isn’t made by the same studio as the first game, the studio Luxoflux is working on this game. After seeing some parts of the game, you can notice this game will be better than Transformers 1, at least let’s hope so…

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is based on the upcoming movie, the game will be released two days after the movie at June 24th. In this game you can choose for which side you want to play. Choose for the good side the Autobots or if you like the bad side more you choose for the Decepticons. Every transformer has his own ability; like one can be fast but the other one is very strong.

The transforming of a transformer is fast and much easier to use. Like if you make a huge jump when your transformer you can transform him in air and let him immediately attack the enemy. The animation and the audio in this game is much improved than the first game, the sound is incredible good almost like the movie.

The graphics in this game is much better improved but it’s not that great, the robots looks great and the terrain looks a little sharper. You’re not only fighting in a city but also above sea and in the dessert and you will have fights in Egypt and China, just like in the movie. All the new bad guys in the second movie are also in the game like the Fallen and the Devestator.

This sequel will have a multiplayer, something what the first game missed. Not that you will expect some new multiplayer modes. Just the standard type: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch en Capture the Flag.

So all in all Transformer: Revenge of the Fallen is an improvement from the first game, but I don’t think it will be a must-have. This Transformers movie game is only for fans just to have fun with. For every action you can choose which transformer you want to be, so this game is a must for fans only!
