How to be prepared for the big College Basektball game!

It is now time for another exciting season of College basketball. This is one of my favorite times of the year. Nothing can be better than having friends over to watch the big game. Here are a few tips on how to make sure you are ready for the season, and ready to throw the big party.

The first thing to remember when having a party to watch the big game is to have plenty of drinks and snacks. Chips and dip or a vegetable tray is always a good choice. My favorite is to order out a bunch of chicken wings. There are plenty of choices out there. Make sure you have healthy, as well as unhealthy, snacks available.

Another great thing when watching b-ball is to drink an ice cold beer. Have a couple of small coolers spread out in your viewing area filled with beer and ice so your guests do not have to traverse to the kitchen and possibly miss a funny commercial or an exciting play. This is especially important if your guests are fantasy basketball players, and want to assure their players are earning them points.

Another thing I like to do is to make sure you have lots of team memorabilia around, especially to taunt the guests who root for the opposing team you are. This is critical to a good party.

Finally, and most importantly, make sure everyone is safe. If you have alcohol at your party, do not let anyone drink and drive. This could be the worst thing that could happen to your party to turn it into a horrible night. Remember, if you master the art of throwing a great basketball party, you will be prepared for the big party, the NCAA tournament.
