Acne – Remedies and Home Treatments

You can find some useful home treatments and remedies for acne problems. i have also prescribed a healthy balanced diet for the same !

Acne - Few Home Treatments & Remedies:

As we see in our day to day life, we cannot avoid in getting into certain conditions like acne. It is considered to be the worst ever and the most irritating condition that people get on to their faces, for which they doesn’t know the reason and tend to try a lot of treatments and pay lot of medical bills etc.

Here we can see some useful Home treatments for acne which can be done at the ease of your home and using some natural non allergic items and you will be surprised, these small treatments at home prove a lot more than what you expect.

1. Orange Peel: Pound the orange peel as hard as you can with water and apply on acne affected areas.

2. Lemon: Apply concentrated lemon juice on the acne affected areas.

3. Coriander and Mint juice: A teaspoon of coriander juice and mint juice mixed with a pinch of turmeric powder in the night and allow it till morning. Wash you face clean before applying the mixture.

4. Fenugreek: This is another useful remedy for acne. Make a paste of fenugreek leaves and apply it to affected areas in the night and wash with warm water in the morning.

5. Cucumber: Grated cucumber mixed with a pinch of turmeric powder, apply it to you entire face, neck and eyes and allow it to dry for 15 to 20 minutes. Then wash off with cold milk and then with water.

6. Zinc: Zinc shows dramatic results for acne. You can take 3 doses of 50 mg daily up to one month or till there is noticeable improvement and then reduce to the dose of 25 mg.

Balanced Diet for Acne: To begin with you should go with an all fruit diet for a week, taking 3 meals a day of fresh juicy fruits like apples, grapes, pineapples & peaches. Only unsweetened lemon or plain water should be drunk, either hot or cold, nothing else. After one week you can gradually adopt a well balanced diet with more emphasis on raw foods, like fresh vegetables and fruits, sprouted seeds, raw nuts, wholegrain cereals, particularly millet and brown rice. Further short periods of “All fruit diet” for 3 or 4 days may be necessary at a monthly interval till the skin’s condition improves.

NOTE: Avoid strong tea/coffee, soft drinks and processed foods. Meats, condiments, pickles, candies, ice cream, refined and processed foods should be avoided as far as possible.
